System Build
Medium Server Immersion Enclosure
DCX Server Immersion Enclosure is a new, unique concept of immersion system dedicated for high performance servers. DCX Immersion System consists of immersion tanks in 3 different heights (665, 800 and 1000mm) dedicated for standard servers, new immersion purpose platforms and edge servers. DCX Immersion tanks have built-in hydraulic compartment, equipped with high-capacity heat exchangers and 2N redundant pumps, so each tank exchanges the heat to the facility primary loop. In opposite to proprietary, hard to maintain, low performance immersed “CDUs”, we use large plate heat exchangers and our redundant pumps are readily accessible for replacement, which ensures uninterrupted operation even in the unlikely event of a pump failure, and those design choices maximize system efficiency, server uptime and reliability.
One of the advanced features is internal build of DCX Immersion Enclosure which guarantees efficient circulation of dielectric fluid and balanced, precise saturation of immersed servers, delivering a right amount of flow that the servers require.
Besides many unique characteristics, those tanks can be stacked in a dedicated racks frames in 2 or 3 level configuration. Those racks have standard server rack dimensions of 600×1200 mm, providing exceptional density compared to the traditional immersion systems and allowing datacenter operators to keep standard data hall topology. For the system monitoring, we choose non-nonsense DCX Monitor solution using temperature sensors to provide real-time data regarding temperature of the dielectric engineered fluid and inlet / outlet temperatures of primary loop connections.
