DCX Liquid Cooling Systems, an innovator in liquid cooling solutions, received earlier this year a landmark agreement to supply fully custom-made Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) to one of the world’s Top 3 largest and most influential AI companies.
-
Each of the custom-made Coolant Distribution Unit is engineered to handle capacities of up to 9.6MW per single device, with DCX Liquid Cooling Systems contracted to deliver 22 units for a total cooling capacity of 220MW.
-
DCX Liquid Cooling Systems continues to break barriers of cooling capacity per a single Coolant Distribution Unit and is shipping the system to the Gigawatt scale data center in USA.
This collaboration highlights DCX’s expertise in tailoring high-performance cooling systems to meet the unique demands of advanced AI infrastructure, where extreme power densities require precise and reliable thermal management. The custom CDUs incorporate cutting-edge design features to ensure optimal efficiency, scalability, and minimal downtime.
The design of a 9.6MW CDU was is an expanded interpretation of our 5MW Facility Distribution Unit. Our engineering team completed the whole design and sizing process within a span of weeks.
“We are grateful to our customer for their trust and confidence in DCX, which has enabled our engineering team to scale 5 MW FDU design to 10 MW Coolant Distribution Unit, meeting the specific requirements of the investor.”, said Maciek Szadkowski, Chief Technology Officer at DCX Liquid Cooling Systems.
